Winter

A winter landscape with trees laid bare
The NE wind brings a chill to the air
Low in the sky hangs a pale winter sun
There’s the anticipation of festive fun

Tinsel, lights and pine tree smells
Cold winter walks and the sound of church bells
The big day arrives with turkeys stuffed and dressed
Tis the season for all to be blessed

Thank you Janice, I was inspired on my Christmas holiday in the Cotswolds
