Winter

I look out of my window and Watch the snow flakes fall Turning Autumn into winter as They cover the grassy floor The animals are all sleeping and birds have flown away Except the Robin who'll remain to sing on Christmas Day The streets are lit and dazzling the shops all filled with toys Waiting to be all wrapped up for little girls and boys A tree stands brightly decor'ed as all others look so bare With children building snowmen As carols fill the air A time to give and to receive Oh! what will he bring me Yes Santa with his big red sack I'll just have to wait and see
