Wink for Wink

I saw where you were sitting 
Was looking through my hair
I doubt that you took notice 
But I knew you were there
Short glances given quickly 
My eyes locked on your face
I wanted you to watch me
Moving with my bass
I winked one time on purpose
See it? No way you could
But down beneath the surface
I was hoping that you would
