Wings Wide Open
Pain for Gain and progress
ugly reflections turned into perfection
acknowledging savage
helps manage damage
the more you take away
the more options you have to play
at first you stand with wings wide open
exposing anything broken
and you flap and flap again
and though you flap and feel like crap
you don't allow effort to collapse
the experience raises your game
blocked views on the floor become a birds eye map
your pain has become your gain
but you must take this mistake filled ride
to reach the heights with knowledge to glide
your first stance and last stance look the same
from vertical to landscape for an enhanced brain
