Wing To Fly
Wings To Fly
Skipping down the rolling and
Mounting piedmonts of love,
I saw an eagle soar spreading
His mighty wings out
I heard the chirping lullaby
Of the mockingbird swirled
With the sweetly cooing doves.
I twirled about and danced
Around with unabashed joy.
Stopping to rest in a soft bed
Of green clover to peer at the
Heavenly clouds above.
Watching a bluebird chase
Another but suddenly
Changing routes.
Judging by their fluid and
Merry movements those
Two were in love.
At that moment I was
Wishing that I could be
As brave as them instead
Of being so coy.
