Winds of Winter

Winds of Winter

The cold chilly winds of Winter
Will soon arrive on the scene
Ready to cover the land with cold
Not a single trace left of green.

That happened to my heart
Since the time you chose to be gone
No longer does it beat with true love
Your gone time has just been too long

There are times way late in the night
Sometimes nearly breaking dawn
My mind will wonder just a little bit
Oh my, how is it you are really gone

In my heart the cold holds true
The swirling winter winds never cease
There was a time my heart rejoiced
But your leaving shattered all my beliefs

Yes the seasons all come and go
But my heart is frozen in time
It owns the cold chilly winds of Winter
Fashioned for me by my own design
