Winds of the Storm

Winds of the Storm My life is ending my soul distending, I’m falling out of the light My will is bending I can’t keep mending, these wounds I have here inside And now, my skin is peeling, my flesh revealing, the evil grown here inside This seed of evil, flesh eating weevil, was planted here by your lies And now I’m lost, I’m gone, on the winds of this storm Count the cost, its high, on these storm winds I’m borne I’m flatten, I’m crushed, all scattered into dust On the winds of this storm All my memories, too much imagery, go flashing before my eyes My joy and laughter, crushed by a master, no heed or note of my cries All of this recollection, my life’s possession, a foundation full of lies As life collapses, down all around me, I can’t escape from these ties And now I’m lost, I’m gone, on the winds of this storm Count the cost, its high, on these storm winds I’m borne I’m flatten, I’m crushed, all scattered into dust On the winds of this storm The last words spoken, the gates swing open, I take my first steps inside With joy and bright light, paradise greets my sight, always here I will now reside As your spirits burns, no my head won’t turn, my ears are deaf to your cries You’re lost on the storm, on its winds you are borne, for all of eternal life And now you’re lost, you’re gone, on the winds of the storm Count the cost, its high, on these storm winds you’re borne You’re flatten, you’re crushed, all scattered into dust On the winds of this storm
