Winds of Christmas

Winds of Christmas

             winds of Christmas blow,
             family gatherings near,
             tears for a lost friend.

Wow - Panagiota, you found the exact words to describe what Christmas should be like - time to remember those near and dear that have passed and celebrate the joyous birth of Christ with our families. Happy Happy Christmas. Jennifer.

I think this is a perfect gem. Thoughtful poignant piece. I, like Eve, thought of your sweet cousin but I see you were inspired by a betrayal. I think that must be the true mark of art—to turn pain into something beautiful. <3 -ps

I wondered about this one.truly, physical death is easier to take than treachery by hordes of fellow poets. This should be stopped now! New poets are not welcomed but get an automatic block by the papacy here and its bishops and bishopettes? Totally Sick. One should not read the poet, not insult and block. Treachery here has no bounds. Worse, insult new poet as an older poet we know. The older poet is not a sheep. Has no time for their lunacy, Also...thank you, deep soul..you caught the beauty in this one...panagiota xxoo

:'( The death of someone you care makes it hard to stay with the spirit of holidays.

Actually was referring not to the dead! Far worse when a close friend stabs you in the back. Not one, Eve but an entire group. My cousin that died less than two weeks ago had character and would never harm another person. These are snakes that pretended to be my friends. Do not be as trusting as I was with people. Please? Watch your back.I mean that Love. Pangie.
