Window to the Soul

I lie in bed, With dread, Accomplished nothing, My future is aching. Wasting away my youth, This being my gospel truth, A tale as old as time, I’ve squandered my prime. Lack the will and the wit, To do it, I need to get a grip, Before I slip. Instead, I consume, Consume, Consume, Consume. My eyes hurt.
