Window Sill

Window sill cracked and old,

in need of repair, time has not

been kind to you.

Many years of looking

out the window I should

have taken better care of you.

Today I will scrape the old paint

from your surface, make a trip

to the paint store and give

you back the respect you deserve.

Now, you're talking about my windows, James. I procrastinate, but, so help me, there will be some spring cleaning this year. Love, Dave

James, this is a unique poem. I never saw anyone write of a window sill like this before and I realize it has deeper meaning too, at least for me it does.Glad you liked my footles. I have many of them!

A good decision. Even you will feel much better, I imagine.
