Window Defroster
Like the morning ice on your car, unable to see out the window
In retrospect to who you are through the Savior that you know
It is as though you are blind unable to see anything around you
For there's but One answer to find as there's but one thing to do
Defrosting with a warm heart as now slowly you can begin to see
It's a little slow to start but pretty soon it'll reach a higher degree
The road ahead much more clear you simply venture on the road
For had you to suddenly veer, it's better than having to get towed
Yet on the road we travel many never press the defroster button
Walking around with a gavel acting as if they were God's only Son
Their heart is hardened, so ice cold and it being so dark outside
Darkness refuses to loosen it's hold thwarting all that you've tried
The defrosting is the biggest part without it nothing else can begin
It's like a warmth in your heart that wipes the ice or as I say sin
Soon the ice can't come back that warmth makes you feel good too
But if this is all you really lack then why not just try something new
THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS
'Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10
