Wind Songs

Wind in the willows
A soft gentle breeze
Whispers and rustles
Of the willow leaves

Wind strokes my cheeks
  And caresses my face
  As down the highway
  On my Harley I race

Woodsy breeze blowing
Scent of Autumn leaves
  As I ride my horse
  Between the trees

 Gusty gales howl
When Earth is too dry
Driving rain down from
 A thundercloud sky

"Wind Song, Wind Song"
    Stays in my mind
   It is also a favorite
    Perfume of mine.

Nature in its beauty... This a piece indeed from the basket of the muse.

A soft and melodic scene you have created with your poem today Janet, even if I can also hear the Harley roaring in the background. The rhymes flowed easily and didn't feel forced and the cadence was that of a whispering breeze.

- I can see you "fly" with the wind on the horseback, Janet :) - Windy with your Harley too ... but, I prefer the horse :) - a wonderful poem of freedom - Read my response to you on my poem "September" - hugs from Norway // Anne-Lise :)
