Willow Tree

On this windy day
I think of the way'
The way I loved you
The way I knew we were true
As I sit under this willow tree
Leaves blowing, flowers growing
I think of you
I think of all we've been through
And the love I once knew
I commit to a never ending promise
The promise to love you

The promise with nothing to spare
The love I feel for you is rare
I feel for you trying to prove that you're just another guy
I analyzed you with the raising question... Why?
For that I am thankful
For you being you
Me being me

The day I see the willow tree falling
Is the day I see you leaving
Needless to say the willow tree has already fallen
Now being nothing more then a seed full of a never ending promise.

Connecting your life happenings to the willow tree is unique. And I especially liked your ending.
