Will You

Will You? Will you all now listen to me? Now, that I have killed my dreams and done what you wanted Will you let me be Me? Now, That I cannot face myself Will you ever ask me what happened Now, As I lay blackened Will you ever look me in the eye Not to pry Now, Will you ask me what I wanted Will you let me go unhaunted As I ask you today Will you let me sway away? From the demons I’ve nurtured And the dreams I’ve murdered Feeling ashamed of myself Not to be blamed for thyself Will you let me go away?
