Will We Ever Learn

Crackle, crackle, crackle.
Burn, Burn, Burn.
Burning all our bridges
Until there is no way of return
Futile battles causing pain and grief
Continuous fighting that gives no relief,
Or peace of mind for all humankind

A meaningful, true to life poem, Shirley. Some love chaos--and that is the point it seems. A blot on humanity they are.

The bottom line is that it seems like we won't ever learn, Shirley. My question is why??? Good writing. Enjoyed this.

Thank you, Milt, I always appreciate your comments. Sadly, I think you are right. When is enough enough? Too much power and greed, too much poverty and carnage. Enough already!
