Will there ever be an ending to pork barrel spending

Will there ever be an 
ending to
 pork barrel spending

Maybe there will be
if we 
can start downsizing

By eliminating
the 
unnecessary spending

So that we can climb out 
of this recession 
that we have all been in

But it is going to take
some 
innovative thinking

And someone in power
who is 
willing to clamp down

By freezing any future 
projects
that are in the making

So that we can get out 
of this 
recession that we are in 

And continue to prosper 
into the next millennium
