Will of Existence

I speak of the places where I grew cold I know now why I can just not let go They’re warnings to never let my love grow old My strength lies in feeling the things I know I speak of a wisdom that conscious gave The gift of our reason and our will to say Keep holding on and we’ll find a way This is what we are unless we betray Fear then control then evasive lies Your love turned to loss now you close your eyes No reason to think that you should hold on inside As the world just reflects everything that dies Pain leads to ice leads to overflow Our will is the fire that can melt the snow It’s either this or become death and reap the show Only to force them into undertow I still exist even though I fell I still believe after every level of hell Even if I crawl I will hold my heart Even if I fall down I will just restart
