Will It Ever Be the Same
Your bright blue eyes spoke to me.
It will never be the same, sweet honey.
When I leave. will you promise one thing?
Dance often and promise to sing.
As time has passed.
It goes by fast.
The one thing I will leave behind.
Promise me you will always be kind.
Not just for others but also for you.
Try to be patient in what you do.
Live on and find what makes you feel best.
Do not forget you will always need rest.
Go for a walk.
Enjoy a coffee and a talk.
Meet new friends along the way.
No honey it will never be the same, it will get better every day.
