Will I Ever Return
(A Poem About Dementia/Alzheimers)
Where have l gone
Will l be back soon
Have l left this earth
Been flown to the moon
If l ever return
Will it be the same
Jumbled and muddled
Thoughts l no longer retain
I am lost in my head
Rambling around
Confused, alone ,afraid,
Has “ME” vanished…..never to be found
