A charming snapshot of nature’s quiet rebellion—wildflowers doing what they do best! Love how it captures both beauty and untamed growth in just a few words.

Hi Anne-Lise, when I was young, I used to think that some wild flowers were more beautiful than the cultivated ones. All we get are weeds from other people's gardens. I love the Monoku, and the picture complements your words completely. You encompass the thought so easily. Your friend always ..... Mike. XXX

- Wildflowers or weeds are beautiful, Mike ... but we don't want them in our garden :) - hugs

I see some dandelions and maybe some broom sage shoots. I like the path cut down the middle. LOL..I wonder if they are letting all the wild plants go to seed. Thanks for sharing. Creative one you have penned. Sara K

Your poem, unlike these beautiful wild flowers, is not overgrown.. it's just right. Well done!

Wild flowers grow quickly. Soon winter will kill them all. Prepare your soil, weed and sow lovelier plants.

Such a wonderful monoku my dear poet friend Annelise. Wildflowers quickly grow and spread and some are more beautiful than some garden flowers. I also wrote one for the contest. If I'm not mistaken, our dear poet sponsor asked a monoku packed with alliteration. I'll go and check again if I'm right, ok. Tyvm again and best winning wishes in the contest. God bless you always and your poetry. Hugs
