Vibrant hues of scarlet and gold
Lilac, sapphire, colors so bold
Whispering tunes of glorious hope
Breathless promises revealing how to cope
Rich varieties of laughing blooms
In their beautiful, magical costumes
Fragrances tempting, like lilac perfume
Sweet as tender roses, even the heirloom
Listening to the silence of a tender bud
There comes a trembling echo, a flood
Stilling the spirit with serenity, tranquility
Abiding on the heart of praise and humility
Breathing in the kisses of lush flowers
Embracing the music of rain showers
Blessings fall all around the lovely garden
Sprinkling the spirit with grace, a pardon
Dreaming of leaves, easy and flowing
With liquid laughter, beauty is growing
Graceful like the stems of a gladiola
Playing on the strings of the soul, a viola
Charming the heart, a murmur of calm
Touching the feelings like an awing psalm
Feeding hope and inspiring wildflower wishes
The Spirit knows God’s grace isn’t superficies
