Wild Lightning

I only hope for their memories of me to blaze.

Like a crack in the glass that will never shatter in this haze.

I am not only tethered to this world, but also woven.

I cannot become untied, I cannot float away unspoken.

I wish to be remembered like wild lightning.

For only a moment at a time will my memory be in your ears ringing.

I promise that your guilt will never ease.

Until you acknowledge that you are holding all my pleads.
