Widow's First Christmas

Turkey's done dressin' turned out fine gotta stop thinkin' gonna loose my mind. Presents neath the tree that boy is one big smile. Ain't gonna start cryin hold on for awhile. God I miss you honey each and every day. Christimas time don't make no sense since you gone to stay. Sure miss you carvin' that laughter filled with glee. Can't get no Christmas spirit when you ain't with me. May the Lord bless you keep you safe and sound We just havin' Christmas done here on the ground. Happy Birthday Jesus take care o' my ol' man and we'll be doin' your party just the best we can. Merry Christmas darlin' where ever you may be .... "Whatcha got there boy? A present for me ...... "

The first one was December of 1971 and this was written sometime in the 1970's and first posted here a few years ago!! I've included it in more than one contest but funny it just showed up now ... smile ... Thanks so much for everyone's comments!!
