Why you may ask
So that I can stand on your feet while
We dance
Your moves are smooth
Your glide is nice
Your step is precise
And because you’re my man
Hold me close
Why you may ask
So that my head can rest on your chest
And I can smell your cologne
And hear the rhythm of your heart beat
And be directed by the feet that are under
My feet
And together we’ll never miss a beat
