Why writing is an excellent and beneficial therapy part one

Today when I visited, one of my very best and most dearest friends, Greg Richardson Clinician 111
at Compass Health he made an unusual comment to me: "Roxanne, you must know that you are at one of the highest levels of Schizophrenics that there is."

"Why is that so?" I asked him.

"It's because of your writing you use for therapy."

"That's true because I have going through a very rough time lately with a lot of stress, anxiety in my life. I use writing to release lot of pent up frustration. It's helps me to cope with my life."

Sometimes, I just write for hours on Poetry Soup. And that's one of the websites that I have been writing a lot on lately."

And I think I also mentioned Pondrin but I didn't mention All Poetry. The latest thing on Pondrin that I wrote was Tell Your Own Story.

I used to do a lot of typing on our old electric typewriter when I was younger and did a lot of type written research on both the book of Revelation and Bible prophecy which I just used to devour.
Yes, I made a lot of mistakes about it and 'it's still a work in progress.'

When I was a client at their physicality in Marysville, I was in my 40's and I used to take the Community transit bus to Marysville. Out side of our group sessions, I spent a lot of time on their computer while the rest were listening to hard rock music. And doing arts and crafts work that I sometimes manged to unsuccessfully participate in.

She said I was using her too much as my personal counselor when she was only my group counselor. But everyone was doing it much more than I was, but she didn't hold that against them. Neither did I cause they needed her much more than I did besides they lived in Marysville and I lived in Everett.

I really felt that I didn't belong there but then again I felt that I never belonged anywhere my entire life at the time.

I wasn't too disappointed when our group therapy sessions worker dropped me. I was becoming very unpopular with their other clients. When we went to the Evergreen's State Fair that year as a group. Everyone was sorry that I came along because I ruined everything for everyone else.

There was one good thing that came out of it. She helped me store a lot of poems on their computer and print them out for me before I left. She couldn't believe that I didn't copy my work but I actually wrote it myself. Until she watched my composition's typing, and I can't find those type written poems today.

It was the same old song and dance routine that I had been hearing all of my life.

"I have wasted enough of my valuable time on you when I could have been doing much better things with my life." I heard similar statements from a lot of people.

"I told this was the last time that they would be seeing me because I was dropping out of their group and going back to the one in Everett instead."

When my clinician at the time mentioned their program in Marysville, I told my counselor that I had already tried it but Everett had a much better program for me anyway.
