Why won't you fade away
Just when I least expect it
One too many plates
An extra knife and fork
It utterly destroys me.
A bag in a bathroom youll never use
Just here under the sink
Whats in it, I can't throw away
Maybe one day? Maybe, one day..
The things done are burnt in
A glance with a grin as you step
Now simple things I can't unsee
Replay, rewind, they're on repeat
Hold your hand up on a drive
You check your lefts and rights
We're right to go to the left here, right? Right.
Each as innocent as the last
You dont get these moments
Locked them out along with us
Never exist in your head
In your mind I'm dead, so I'm dead
I'm dead.
I don't care anymore it's too far
Lied to us, of love and care
It's clear you didn't by the way you left
I asked you not to do it this way
One of these days it'll catch you
im not one to receive it, old friend
In winters cold gaze with a fire alight
I'll wait for the moment
It'll hit you like it's inside, insight
Incite the past you run from my dear
I tried to tell you, to sit, and to grieve
Begging you please, not to run away and leave
One thing that hurt and probably the most
You didn't look back at us
Not once not ever.
A ghost..
