Why Wolves Howl

Each night after dark the wolves howl at the moon as it hangs in the sky. Through countless ages their sad song continues though no one can truly know why. Maybe they think that it listens, maybe they don't even care, or maybe, just maybe, they howl to it simply because it is there.

Lovely shape poem, Jesse. On hot humid nights the moon looks just like that - and that would be when the wolves howl the loudest...
