Why So Painful

Images of yesterday still linger in the back of my mind One night you touched me so tender and you were so kind Never did I believe it was all my imagination that I felt Dead gardens there was when I thought roses was what I smelt Nothing can uplift me from the bottom I have landed on Once again I embark on a search for a love of my own Time won't stop to let me gather my thoughts and move forward Stabbed in my backside not by my enemy but it was you with that sword Drowned in sorrow and desperation as the seas only grow deeper Patiently waiting for a love to reel me in as their keeper Why so painful, one can not fathom nor even explain Diagnosed with heartache now forevermore will I live with this pain
