Why My Poems Are Not Long

Why my poems are not long?
I think in terms of song:
My passion for sound strong,
Sacrificing beat wrong...

Why poems shan't be long?
To sound and song I belong:
On sound, now, the King Kong,
Save there's one in Hong Kong
One I don't sight in Tong!
Like China to Ping Pong...

And I have brave tunes sung
But have not their bells rung
To seventeen tracks clung
Like a dirt: a dung flung...

This they hate: a used lung;
Want it out of one wrung!
It's been a sound-driven poem
In the tradition of a deum.
