Why Me

I awoke this morning with trouble on my mind
Not very unusual but certainly not the right kind.
I say a prayer and try to be as calm as I can be
Then I say to myself ""why me""
I look back on my life and think of the good times
All of the laughter I felt,
The best love you could find.
Then I dig deep within my soul
There is anguish, pain a heaviness
Untold
""why me"" I ask am I not just like any other person in this world
I use to have happiness, I use to be a good girl.
But I have to do better do what god
Wants me to do
Yet so many nights i'm angry, so mad and so blue
It can't get any worse, there is always someone going through
So don't ever think you can't get over. what I am saying is oh
So true. it was said best""i love me better than that""
And yes you can get your life back
But it's my turn and I will show them girl this too shall pass
And I can make a difference in this world.
