Why Don'T You Follow
I am under six feet deep
Laying peacefully asleep
Unaware of how you feel
I won't get up on my heels.
I gave you enough chance
You didn't notice, not once;
I won't go out of my bed
I was breathing but good as dead.
Now why bring foods I can't eat?
You know I used to like treats
And I would've appreciated kind words-
When I was feeling like a caged bird.
You heard me but you didn't listen
You comprehended when my eyes glistened
But you didn't lend a helping hand
So I went to fulfill what I long planned.
Dear do not put the blame on you
Like you were concerned for me too
I'm gone for good now you know
If you're sorry then why don't you follow?
