Why do you....?
(Poetic Form :: Somonka)
Why do you avoid
when I talk on commitment?
Is it a good sign
or a sign you don't see some
longer-term future with me?
If you think of me
seriously you will feel
its reasonable
desire to talk about our
future lives some time later.

Poetic Form :: Somonka
The somonka is a Japanese form.
In fact, it's basically two tankas written as two love letters to each other (one tanka per love letter).
This form usually demands two authors, but it is possible to have a poet take on two personas.
