Why Do We Live, Only To Die?

Is it true we live to die?
   The question here is why?
To me the answer is clear.
This is just a place for the Lord to draw us near.
Do I fear death, not in the least!
Not since I found Jesus, and shed the beast.
Death to me holds no sting.
Since I walk with our Savior, to me that is everything!
The grave holds no victory over me.
It’s merely a resting place, till our Father beckons to me.
Many live a meaningful and productive life on this earth.
But if you don’t know Jesus, what is it worth?
Jesus is our immortal key.
He will bind the beast to set you free.
If you haven’t found Jesus, friend, give the Lord a try.
Then you’ll understand why we live to die.
