Why do we cry.
Why do we cry.
why do we cry when the tears don't help me;
is it because we can't break free.
why do we cry when tears don't shape me;
is it because my world won't let be.
why do we cry when tears fall so free;
is it because I hurt so deeply.
why do we cry when tears stop me see;
is it because of what I've seen lately.
why do we cry when tears roll down my cheeks;
is it because they stroke me gently.
why do we cry when tears make me empty;
is it because we need to drift on the sea.
why do we cry when tears show our souls perfectly;
is it because we are all one soul drowning quietly.
