Why Do I Write Poems
Why Do I Write Poems
Poems start out as poems in my head;
Become few words then on paper are fed
Right into a poem to become its first line
That I always do love and think is divine.
All great poems are from me of course
Just like a marriage for better or worse
Words meeting each other that do meld
And then together they all have jelled.
Always so smooth as all of the flow
Like a watery cascade wanting to know
Just how long will water have to wait?
Until it finally forms a gaseous state.
Each thought returned back to my mind
All trying to seek another way to find
And reshape into another style or form
Depending on if weather is cold or warm.
With many other poets I then tried to consult
And guess what turned out being final result?
The deeper into poem you read it indicated
By myself, my own poem was vindicated.
