Why Do I Love You

Why do I love you...what can I say...
Why does the sun shine...why in the day...
How can I explain it and in what special way
I can only praise God - and thank Him as I pray

But you ask me why, so explain I shall try
In my mind are you, in my heart, too, and aye
Along with these I can but weakly try...
You are in my very blood, that is why

I am infected with you, for life - terminally
So I have no real choice not to, you see
I will go to my grave deeply loving you, not free
And will never stop loving you for all eternity
