Why Did You Let Go Daddy

You always loved her more
My heart you let go
Sometimes I wonder what I did wrong
Sometimes even if you cared
Was I such a bad girl?
Why didn't you love me too?
Even when she left, all you did was mourn for her
Now that I have grown, I still see no love
Daddy, what ever happened?
You're just a stranger to me now
I'm still your little girl
You didn't have to let go
Why do you stay so silent
Why don't you tell me you love me so...

Many times parents act this way unintentionally, but it still hurts. Its good to let our parents know we feel neglected, but I know it ain't that easy. Your verses touched me deeply dear friend.
