Why Did You Leave

My beautiful wife, my world,
Why did you do this? Why leave?
I'm devastated and confused.
All I can do is grieve.

Each day I'm without you,
My heart breaks more and more.
I lost my purpose for living
When you walked out the door.

What's the reason you left?
I wonder night and day.
I don't understand this.
Why did you walk away?

I thought our love was good.
Did I do something to upset you?
All I have is your memory.
I'm lost. What do I do?

I miss holding you close to me
And how you feel under my touch.
I miss your laugh and you being here.
I miss everything so much.

I'm begging you to come back.
Is there anything that I can do?
I'd do anything in this world
To get back to loving you.
