Why Did You Leave
Your warm embrace.
Your perfect smiles.
Your beautiful eyes.
They were so close to me.
Every day they were there for me.
Through all the hard times.
Through all the sad times.
You were always here for me.
I thought that you would stay.
I thought that you were strong.
I truly thought that you would never leave.
Didn’t I mean anything to you?
Didn't our time together made you understand
that you meant everything to me?
Now I'm standing here in the rain
crying for you to come.
Hoping that everything was just a silly dream,
but it isn't...
I'm pouring my heart out at night.
I'm praying for you to not be gone.
Oh, why did you leave?
Oh, why was this world so cruel to you
and now to me?
