Why Can'T You
You love her without any doubt,
You tell me how many times you cry for her each day,
Why love her and not me,
Is she a better friend than I am,
Does she know things that I don't,
Is she prettier than I am,
Tell me please because my heart is bursting to know,
If I were just like her would you love me instead,
or would she still be the one to steal your heart,
I don't know what to do anymore,
I look at you and I know you were created for me,
Is it that you were created just for her,
and that I fell for the wrong guy,
You make me feel what no other guy makes me feel,
I feel special and comfortable around you,
I feel like its enough just being me,
I feel like whatever I do you will still be my friend,
I know that whatever happens you will be there for me,
But I also know you will be there only as a friend,
and not a guy who loves me,
I want you to be happy,
even though I may not be,
As longs as you love her there will never be a time for you and me,
I want you to know I'll be there if you need me to be,
So when she breaks you heart like you broke mine,
I'll be here as your friend to talk it over with you,
I hope you know I love you and that I always will,
So please never forget me and how much I mean to you
