Why Born Again

It's not what goes in that makes us unclean.
In our heart already there's an evil thing.
Generating negative thoughts, all kinds.
Causing us to do bad things some of the time.
We wonder why some people can be so cold.
It's because we're born with a corrupted soul.
A cruel infection that exist within.
No one is immune, it's name is call Sin.
When we are born our spirit is dead.
Because two people long ago ignored what God said.
The gene spreads each time humans conceives.
This evil-causing, mind-damaging sin disease.
The next few things may sound quite odd.
It severed our spiritual connection with God.
We're born with a body, yet our spirit is dead.
No awareness of God is inside our head.
We're searching for something day and night.
An empty feeling says things just aren't right.
We search for meaning until life ends.
What we need is to be "Born Again!"
There are two births we must go through.
One the human body and the spirit is two.
After birth all humans will have the tendency to sin.
It's a life long battle that we'll never win.
Young humans are guaranteed heaven for free.
But rules change at the age of accountability.
The longer we live, the harder to change.
The good news is, nothings out of God's range.
God's the source of fulfilment in each humans life.
Removing fear of the unknown and peace replaces strife.
A supernatural event is how it will start.
Reviving the dead spirit that's there in our heart.
You'll never fully understand this, so don't even try.
But we all must accept it and must not deny.
He's Creator of the physical and the spiritual worlds.
As well as Man, Woman, Boys and Girls.
To regenerate our spirit, we must be born again.
Because all are born dead, due to the first human's sin.
Once we're reborn our thinking will then change.
Doing and living right will now not seem so strange.
Something beautiful will happen when God's word is heard.
The Holy Spirit will cause you feel somewhat disturbed.
Guilt feelings will come once this process begins.
That is your awakened spirit now aware there is sin.
God may speak to your soul  in a number of ways.
By trouble, Preachers or what a stranger says.
Once we've decided to surrender our life.
The Holy Spirit will enter and remove our strife.
He is Jesus in Spirit form moving in with you.
Helping you to be and do what God ask you to do.
Like loving others, caring and doing what is right.
The urge to go back, we will still have to fight.
God has extended forgiveness, which requires three things.
Repent. Walk by faith and obey the King of Kings!
Again don't try to figure it out, just simply smile.
Accept all things in the bible. Believe like a little child.
Sometimes your mind will speak to you quite loud.
Telling you to go back and follow the crowd.
When the church ask you to come down to the front.
Don't worry it's not some religious stunt.
You're making a statement before heaven with a physical sign.
Telling all the decision you've made in your mind.
Jesus hung publicly for us all on the cross.
Without shame or embarrassment because he loved the lost.
People laughed and spit upon him. He still showed no shame.
He expects all his followers to all be the same.
