The First authentic question
Comes with first coherent thought
And the answer is a question
And the question is 
Why not

Why not stretch 
your imagination
Beyond the thirst of wanting what
I’ve learned about the answer 
And the answer is
Why not

The last coherent question is
The same familiar cry
After all the living 
We are all still asking why

And the answer is a question
A quest for knowledge sot
And the question is the answer
And the answer is 
Why not
