Why

Why give me few words, I yearn for a submerging conversation like we used to have. Your lack of spoken words, gives me an omnipresent burn in my gapping heart. Your detention of intimacy, gives unquenchable thirst that is ever present in each waking moment. Your detached interaction gives me a ravenous hunger for those laughs we used to have. This is not greed nor lust but nourishment for my soul and yet you deny me. I see you share your time with others but there’s no time for me. Why ignite sparks of passion when you have no desire to burn. I should know better from your actions and just walk away.
