Another night comes to an end
As I set here feeling lonely
Drips of sweat dripping from my head
I imagine your still here with me

My minds a mess and I can't sleep
You've gone and left and I'm missing you
I can't believe you took that leap
You were the one I opened my heart to

Why did you go when I needed you
Why didn't you cry when you said goodbye
Why did you lie about someone new
My heart is breaking and asking why
After everything I've done for you
Why did you leave me for somoene new

I stare at your picture on the wall
I smell your scent there on your pillow
I wish you'd pick up the phone and call
Then I imagine you with that other fellow

When I look in the mirror I fall apart
Just can't believe you broke my heart
As another night comes to an end
I finally realize that our love is dead
