Why

Why can’t others be happy for me?
Why make my book a misery?
The first book has come in and the person is unhappy.
I never meant to hurt anyone with it.
I just wanted to move pass it.
I thought I was doing the right thing.
Now I am wondering if it was a wise decision?

At least I have my poetry soup friends :)

Cory, I'm sad to hear someone was offended by a poem in your book. Stay true to your heart and write what you feel. If others are unhappy, that's their problem. I am so happy you have a book out! Love, carolyn
