Why

WHY OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO 
I HOPE SOMEDAY MY SOUL WILL KNOW
THE DAY YOU LEFT MY HEART TOOK QUITE BLOW
OH WHY OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO 

IT STARTED SO GREAT THIS THING CALLED LOVE
BUT THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED (COLD HUGS) 
THE BUTTERFLIES SEEMED TO DISAPPEAR
LIES JUST POURED OUT OF OUR TEARS

WHY OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO 
I HOPE SOMEDAY MY SOUL WILL KNOW 
WHY OH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO 
I PRAY OUR LOVE WILL AGAIN GROW
