Why
It feels as though my heart has been shattered.
It cries cause it knows you are giving up.
To see you it feels for you.
As I sit and wonder why we did not work out?
Why couldn't our hearts feel the same way?
Remembering the first kiss and hug,
and how great the experience was.
the nights of being held for hours,
Feeling as though someone really cared about you.
Why does love have to hurt so bad,
Why does it feel like I have lost everything?
Now it is all gone,
I'm left asking why what went wrong?
