Why

Why
Little ol’ me
Oh so disobedient
Drawn so quickly
To the unclean thing
Yet I can still sing
Of your mercy
Why
Temporary atonement
Rare repentance
Really makes no sense
That I stand witness
As your grace
Covers my sins’ expenses
Why
I possess nothing
Remotely worth fighting for
But you opened new life’s door
When you saw something
Worth dying for
Why
What is, this
This makes no sense
Made,
Into his son
Reborn,
Into salvation
Why
As time keeps going
And His wonders keep growing
I remember His story
And ask
Why

I really enjoyed this read, and ask the same question all the time. Good job, keep bringing on the inspiration because we all need it. ~Chris
