Why
Why would He leave Heaven
To die for one like me
And why would He forgive us
And give us victory
Why would we forsake Him
In His Final Hour of Need
Why did we stand silent
And watch our Saviour bleed
Why would He show mercy
To a world that's lost in sin
Why was He the Sacrifice
From the moment that time begin
Why can't we accept Him
With all the love He'd bring
And why can we just walk away
From our Saviour, Lord and King
