"why"

Why should I be mad if you like me or if you
don't
Why should I care if you talk to me or if you won't
You say you will never break my heart
But now you wanna be apart
Just let me say there is one man that will never treat me the way you do
Hmm I wonder if you have a clue
If you don't just let me tell you he is the one that sends us blessings in each and every way
That's why I don't understand why people turn their backs on him each and everyday
He will never will never break your heart
He treats us right from the very start
He is the one that is in my heart to stay
I tell him I love him each and every night I pray
Just know that he is the real father that lives up above
Just SHOW him some form of praise and love

How right you are, Aerial. The Lord has been there for us "from the very start." And the last line is so meaningful. We send far too many prayers asking for favors and way too few of gratitude and love. Very nice poem! Love, Carolyn
